Wow this is my 100th post! I feel like I should be celebrating or something! I also got my new Stampin' Up order today in the mail! Talk about excited!! I got some new stamp sets, and 2 new
paper packs to play around with. I was able to spend some time making some cards today. For these cards I used "Eastern Blooms" and the designer paper "Haiku". This stamp set is just beautiful and goes very well with the designs on the paper. For the first card, I stamped the large flower on the Tangerine Tango paper in Versamark, then covered it in clear EP and embossed. The flower border was also embossed with clear EP. The flower has a filigree brad (new catalog) in the center of it.
The next card was pretty simple, just a lot of layering of paper to show off the pretty designs and colors and then stamping. On the green panel, the flowers have some glitter on them with my clear glitter pen.
For my last card, I colored the stamp in using my SU! markers then stamped to get the different colors on one stamp. I then did this really cool thing to get the halo effect. It is too complicated to explain without pictures, so go check out this blog for details!
