That's right, it's now the time to get started on Halloween projects! I went to Michael's yesterday and they had all of the new K & Co. Halloween and Thanksgiving paper and accents out. It seems like fall is almost here! (yay!). I made these 2 cards tonight using the MFT set "Fright Night". I love this stamp set! The first card uses the Mojo Monday Sketch #47, and features some of the new K & Co. Halloween paper that I picked up this weekend. The kids are colored with my new Copics, and the ovals are cut with my Nestabilities. I stamped the spiders on the paper and hand drew the "webs".
I made this second card for the MFT Ambassador challenge for August on Splitcoast: Stitching. I faux stitched on the black triangles by paper piercing, and then going over the dots with a white gel pen. The orange background features a new Cuttlebug embossing folder which looks like a spider web. At the top of the card I punched 2 spider web corners with a new Martha Stewart punch.
The image is colored with Copics.I am getting ready to enjoy the rest of my summer off! Summer camp ended Friday and I'm ready to gear up for a brand new school year in September! I'm going to learn the new computer system at my school tomorrow morning. I'm a bit bummed that the school uses PCs instead of Macs, since I am a total Mac user now. Have you ever tried switching back and forth between the two? Talk about confusing! Wish me luck!
